Military Benefits

Fast-Track Admissions: Apply and enroll immediately. Start making progress toward your degree while official documents are being processed.

Tuition Scholarship: UMT offers several scholarships that provide financial relief to military personnel, veterans and their dependents, and others who want to earn a degree. In addition, students who are granted one of the UMT scholarships and are not receiving additional government funding that covers the cost of books (GI Bill^® recipients, etc.) are also eligible for the UMT Book Loan Program. Transfer Credits: Transfer up to 75% of the required hours for an undergraduate degree or 50% for a graduate degree. Military training qualifies for transfer credits according to ACE guidelines. UMT accepts military transcripts (e.g., JST, AARTS, CCAF, SMART, etc.) and CLEP and DSST scores for college credit.

Waivers for Experience: Relevant professional experience may qualify for a course waiver. Ask a UMT admissions counselor for details.

Self-Paced, Instructor Mentored Classes: Self-paced online courses enable you to balance your work and life in a challenging and mobile environment.
