Military Benefits

Fast-Track Admissions: Apply and enroll immediately. Start making progress toward your degree while official documents are being processed.

Tuition Scholarship: The UMT Military Scholarship enables qualified military personnel and veterans to earn a degree without any out-of-pocket expense after TA, GI Bill or DANTES benefits are applied. Spouses of active duty personnel qualify for UMT Military Scholarship, too! For active duty personnel, UMT offers a Book Scholarship.

Transfer Credits: Up to 75% of the required hours for an undergraduate degree may be transferred. UMT is a member of Servicemember Opportunity Colleges (SOC). Military training qualifies for transfer credits according to ACE guidelines. UMT accepts AARTS, CCAF or SMART and CLEP and DSST scores for college credit.

Waivers for Experience: Relevant professional experience may earn undergraduate college credit. Ask a UMT admissions counselor for details.
